Aviva Pilgrim lives in the Ozark mountains near Fayetteville, Arkansas, and is inspired by rural American folk arts of the early 20th century. Aviva's bandana design was inspired by the classic nursery rhyme "Sing A Song of Sixpence." As a lover of pies, baking, birds, and berries the imagery fell into place naturally. The pie lattice was stenciled, overlayed with lino-cut blocks, and then hand painted.
